Chorizo goodness

Hiya, have been lurking for a while and this is a great community. Here's my first offering, no photo alas.

Fry onion in some olive oil until soft, add some garlic and cook. Add some red wine and let it sizzle:) Then put it some chorizo (sliced, thinly and quickly fried with a little oil), a can of tomatoes (fresh if you have them, but this was a raid the kitchen moment lol), roasted red peppers, pinch of chilli, handful of black olives, some more wine for good measure. Simmer until thickened, stirring often. Serve as a tapas type thing in little bowls with crusty bread. Or if you're hungry, over rice. It's a nice "pick at it while you chat" sort of dish:) I know the quantities aren't er precise, but I had a "play and see what happens" moment:))))
