Okie-dokes, a little recipe request, if I may.

I used to absolutely adore French bread, especially the kind with the crunchy, thick golden crust and lovely soft fluffy light middle [I believe I'm thinking of a French stick. Forgive me on my bread terminology, because a) it's late and b) I haven't had French bread in such a long time]. Anyway, we don't eat white flour any more for a few different [health] reasons, but I find myself craving that crunchy crusted bread every time I'm in the supermarket.

Soooo... could anyone possibly hand me a *wholemeal* French stick recipe? Or a regular one with tips on adapting it with wholemeal flour? Recipes for wholemeal baguettes, or indeed any yummy textured bread would be awesome, in fact.

TIA. ♥
