I'm needing some tested and tried egg free recipes for deserts. We're having a Halloween party for some kidlets in my parents group and I know one of the kids is allergic to eggs and peanuts, so if anyone has some recipes, I'll really appreciate it!

My sister makes mousse:

"-4oz white chocolate, chopped
-1/4 cup HOT heavy cream
-7/8 cup COOL heavy cream
-1 pt fresh raspberries

Melt in a double boiler over hot but not boiling water 4 oz. chopped white chocolate, stirring frequently. When melted, remove from heat and stir in 1/4 c. hot heavy cream (heat by zapping in the microwave for 20 sec. or so). Mix thoroughly, allow to stand until slightly thickened. Meanwhile, rinse and pat dry on paper towels 1 pt. raspberries.

Once cream/chocolate mixture is cooled, whip stiffly an additional 7/8 c. cool heavy cream (that's one cup minus 2 tbsp). Fold a dollop of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture, then fold in the rest of the whipped cream (gently!) until thoroughly mixed. Then fold in the raspberries. Spoon into serving glasses and chill for at least an hour.
"

:) it's delish.

Be careful about where you source your chocolate from if the child is allergic to nuts... Most companies process all their chocolate products together including those that contain nuts (and legumes if you're being pedantic about peanuts). The smallest trace of peanut dust can set off an allergic reaction in those that have an allergy severe enough.

Hi, my husband is allergic to eggs so I've adapted to egg-free baking! The best egg susbtitute I've ever come across is 2 tbsp water+2 tbsp cornstarch (whisked together)=1 egg. These oatmeal and brown sugar cookies turn out tasty. I also have a cupcake recipe that tastes amazingly good using the water/cornstarch substitute - Here it is. If you have any questions, let me know!

Separate eggs in recipes with honey, if the flavor of honey will mesh well. Or bananas. Eggs are really just a binder in my most recipes for sweets, so it can be easily replaced!

This is a diet recipe I posted a while back, but it uses egg substitutes.

Chocolate-covered ANYTHING! Strawberries, pineapple, apple slices etc.

To make it super Halloween-y, dip strawberries in white chocolate (I loathe white chocolate, personally, but this is more for being festive) and then paint a ghostly face on each berry.
