In books you have read, or films you've seen, what did they say the kitchens of the future would be like? That is either our future, or like, 'the future' as in, the year 2000 if it was written a long time ago.
Well, there was a short called Design for Dreaming that was made sometime in the 50s. It was on MST3K, so you might be able to find it on YouTube. But there's a futuristic kitchen in that. Apparently it's about a technology expo, but damned if they didn't make a musical out of it.
I don't actually recall seeing/reading about many kitchens... Food just seems to appear! Rather like vending machines where you just push a button... Or served in mess-halls or canteens or restaurants...
