London Proper

Today I spent the day actually in London.  Just to clarify, I am actually staying about an hour outside London and had to take a day trip into the city.  I met up with my two friends, R and S and we spent the day exploring.  We went to just about all the major tourist attractions.  In the order that I remember them:

• Buckingham Palace
• Big Ben
• The London Eye (the grounds, at least; we didn't have time to actually ride it)
• Piccadilly Circus
• Nelson's Column
• St. Paul's Cathederal

There was a lot of walking, a lot of tube riding, and a lot of people-watching.    Now, I'm back "home" and I just had fish and chips.  Mmmm!
