Well nothing special going on here. Just had a few cans of beer and decided to update this before I go to bed. Note: It was "near beer", aka non-alcohol alcohol. :-p So don't worry, I am not shit-faced or anything.

No idea why I decided to update this, considering that there is nothing really to update on. School is school, though the semester is endin in a week and half for me. I'll be spending my winter break with my cousin, hanging out with Nicole while she is back in the U.S., doing whatever anyone else puts together (like a New Years Eve party or something, I already got one going on at my house so if we all decide to have one it isn't going to be here, unless you guys want to come to this one), and working on my car. Got a few more parts to install and don't have the time right now what with finals coming up and having a few papers due over the next couple weeks.

My parents and I are having a small Christmas this year, presents-wise. Nothing extravagant or expensive. I bought my dad the first two seasons of Stargate: SG-1, and my mom the fifth seasons of The Gilmore Girls and The West Wing. I honestly don't care if I get anything; I already got my car, and that certainly was a major gift in itself. So I'm definitely happy already.

Saturday I had an all-day seminar going on for my work and whatnot, so all 400 or so plus could "better themselves" or whatever. I had to go to a key-note speaking, then two classes, lunch, a short movie of pictures of the A+ staff, and then two more classes. Yeah. Keynote was boring as hell, so I just sat there drinking Coke in the "no-beverage" policy auditorium of the Champlin Park High School. My first class was talking about the effects of Media on children, which, I already knew everything the woman had to say so I spent the hour writing poetry and only paying attention when everyone was sounding like idiots and I had to correct them. Second class was very interesting, it dealt with natural/logical/tragic consequences for punishment for children who misbehave. Very informative, very fun class, and I got a lot out of it. Lunch was good, though I couldn't find the free food so just went out to my car and grabbed a few more Cokes. Then the movie presentation came. Yeah, that was hella funny. See, there is a huge number of staff there, and the movie was supposed to get everyone. Yeah, um, I know that just about everyone in the program knows who I am because I have worked at three different schools and my mom is one of the big-wigs, but I had different pictures in that thing about 7-10 times when most people didn't even get theirs in. That was pretty fucked up, if you ask my opinion. Everyone deserved to get recognized. However, I will admit that I did cheer loudly for myself every time my handsome face showed up on that huge screen. The last two classes were insanely boring and I started writing a novel, so we'll see how that turns out. Then I came home, beat Ghost Recon a second time on the Veteran difficulty, and basically slept the rest of the time. I was dead tired, let me tell you.

And today I slept in, did homework, and started working on the Elite difficult of GR 2. Nothing important, and I am sure no one cares, but meh that is what I did. 11:40 right now or so, so going to bed. Gotta wake up in a little while to do some more homework then go to work then school then work then home to do more homework. Anyway, yeah. Leave a comment or something if you feel up to it.
