I played a great show, it's just that NO ONE showed up.

Well, I played like a rock star. I ran through a good 30 songs and played for over two hours straight.  People RSVPed but didn't show. I just suppose that's how things go.  But for the few who were there, and listening- I played out my heart and soul. I had musicians getting my info from other people because they may want me to front their band(s).  A few CDs were sold.  I put SO MUCH effort into this.  And do I regret it?  Not at all.  It was low-key, and I straight-up rocked it. I did an interesting improv, played Alice in Chains, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Fuel, Collective Soul, Pedro the Lion, Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters and Common Children, in addition to over 20 of my own songs. I had my buddy Dustin assisting on keys, and his brother Barry on some percussion. The digital camera's bateries were poo, so that didn't work.  We had lava lamps, candles, and whatever.  Eh, it was an off-night.  But I know that a few people won't forget it, and neither will I.  They want me to come back after Spring Break, so I will, though I may not bother with My Space invites.  Maybe. Yay for lip-service.  I know Amy from Variable Stars understands! But a nice guy at EB Games shrink-wrapped some of my CDs for free, so thank you to that guy.

I have another show, thankfully more abbreviated, March 6th in Fresno.
