- Hurricane Dennis kills at least 9 in Cuba (Havana, Cuba)
19 Dead in the Carribbean: http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050709/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/hurricane_dennis

Like we didn't have enough problems with hurricanes last year... we need MORE.
First it was predicted to be a head on hit with Jamaica then it turned, blahblahblah we have heard this all before. They can "predict" or GUESS where Hurricane Dennis may or may not hit but there are so many variables. The temperature of the water, the current, the wind, everything. Think about how close the news is when they tell us the % chance of rain (excluding when they say 50% because that will always come out in their favor). Remember the percentage number of them being right about rain and cut that into fifths. That's the stats on when their first "prediction" will be correct. But... things change and they see their wrongs and then their predicaments change (imagine that one).
Sorry, just had to get that out... if it made no sense then... pay no matter.

- WAR... look at this:
http://news.yahoo.com/

What is this world coming to? It's going to shit.
That day during my lunch break me and a co-worker of mine watched the news while we ate our lunch. We discuss our thoughts on... the world and our political views and while we watched the news we took note on a couple of things and I will share them with you now:

1) England handled this situation (being bombed) extremely well. If we were bombed as they were... we would have failed, miserably. The British are use to being bombed, they use to get bombed all of the time. They were prepared for this. One thing that Bush is contently pushing is the phrase "We will be prepared IF it happens, not WHEN, but IF it happens." British Prime Minister "We will be prepared WHEN it happens, not IF, but WHEN it happens." Just those few changes of the phrase proves why England handled it so well. For example: In England the trains and buses and streets were packed when they were bombed. When those bombs went off and people were on lying on the floor, the British helped each other up. What would we have done? Easily answered: we would have said "fuck you, every man for himself" and we'd precede to trample on our own people. England handled this situation extremely well and I admire them for that.

2) Bush was complaining that the bombing happened at an inconvenient time (during the *G8 Summit). Well DUH like the terrorists are going to call us up and say "Excuse me, sorry to bother you but when would be the most convenient time for you for us to go into war because we would like to schedule a time of attack." WHO THE HELL WOULD DO THAT? Of course they did it during the G8 Summit, that would be a pretty smart idea. If we were them we would have done that too.
*G8 Summit - for those of you who do not know what the G8 Summit is I will gladly tell you. The G8 Summit is the coalition of eight of the world's leading industrialized nations. Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In the most basic terms: the leaders get together and talk about what it is they want to focus on for that particular year.
Oh, they by the way they were going to be discussing Africa this year I believe.

3) What the hell was Bush wearing? He was wearing a brownish, greenish suit with a lego colored blue (bright ass blue). Not only can our President not pronounce the simplest words such as "get" and "nuclear" nor can he write his own speeches (I swear the first time he reads his speeches are when he reads them on Live TV) but he cannot even dress appropriately. good lord, he just... drew our attention to him and all that did was confirm that he is as dumb as he looks.

4) While the UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair, was speaking to the world, Bush just kinda looked around and during most of the speech his facial expressions showed that he had no idea what the hell was going on.

I guess I just had to get my thoughts out... grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

** If you are a Bush fan, I am sorry if I have offended you **

- My Weekend:
My family left my house around 12 on Friday afternoon. We made it to Orlando in record time (considering that Rico was driving). We arrived at our hotel (after getting lost) at about 3:30 or so. We laid down for a while, I took a shower and changed and then we all went to Downtown Disney. We looked around for a couple hours and then ate in the Rainforest Cafe. I got shrimp and it was to die for. I loved it. The Cafe was okay, it was covered in vines and gorillas and elephants but it was so loud. Every now and then it would "thunder and lightening" and the lights would go off and on.
Then after we ate we made our way to the Cirqe Du Soleil. The show started at 9 but the tickets said that we should get there thirty minutes early so we were there and in line at 8:25. We had awesome seats... we were in the 7th row... the show was awesome. Cirqe Du Soleil has several shows and I saw La Nouba. The show was great. Here is a link, we saw the second one:
