Oh god, I used to do the same thing with run on sentences!! Whenever I go back and re-read some of my earlier fanfics I'm always apalled at my sentences. It's like I had no idea of what a full stop was. O____o Graduate school has helped with that, thankfully; my professors finally drilled into my brain that short sentences are my friends. 8D
What I always do, and I hate myself for it, is mess up homonyms; eg: 'their' instead of 'they're'... urggggh, I freaking hate it!! And I ALWAYS do it. D:< Makes me want to slap myself silly every single time.
I replaced carrot with concubine once. <--- I have to admit, that one made me cackle. xDD
Full stops are like something that scares me. I don't even know. When I am rping I wince, soooooooo many run on sentences. D: I have no idea where this habit came from, but it's like a particularly addictive drug that I can't get rid of.
I have that issue with Quiet and Quite to the moment on IMs and such people know when I am tired because I fuck them up that badly. XD Forever my vice. Also using the wrong tense, or forgetting to stick -ing or things like that at the end of words. Or reusing phrases orororo, SO MANY THINGS.
Shhhh, it was so baaaad, the other one I noted recently was drill instead of drop. I honestly have no idea what my brain does most of the time.
