[Hey Gelda, who's that wandering down the road up ahead? Sure looks like someone dressed in an Oracle Knights uniform. What do?]

[Approach him, of course! Finally, one of her own. She's heard the strangest story... Interworldly travel, books used for communication and experiments... It's a matter she'd like cleared up. There is, of course, the possibility that this man is only pretending to be a member of the Oracle Knights, which is why she'll tread with caution.

She strides up to him and gives a polite salute. That uniform gives off the impression this man is of a very high rank. She doesn't recognize him, but she can't claim to know all the commanders in the Order of Lorelei.]

Pardon me, sir.

[Her approach catches his attention, and his brows lift at the sight of her uniform. Besides Ion, he hadn't seen anyone wearing anything that resembled the Order of Lorelei's uniform for a long time. And she's vaguely familiar, but not enough to put a name to the face. Maybe he's seen her in passing...?

Well, whatever. He nods in response to her salute.]

You're with the Order. Are you a newcomer?

[She lowers her arm again, but continues to stand up straight like a true soldier. No 'at ease'-ing for her.]

Yes, sir. Locrian Colonel Gelda Nebilim, commander of the sixth division.

[Asch's eyes widen at that, though he recovers quickly; Gelda Nebilim? Jade's teacher, the one who works at the school here. Obviously under effect from something the Malnosso did, then.

Sixth Division, huh... so she must have preceded Cantabile.]

Locrian Colonel Asch, commander of special operations. We didn't serve the Order at the same time.

[Which... probably sounds weird without a full explanation, but she'll have to get used to the weirdness until she goes back to normal anyway. Assuming she does.]

[Special operations, hm? His name doesn't ring a bell. What really catches Gelda's interest, though, is the comment that follows it.]

I'm afraid I don't understand.

[Yeah, this'll be a pain. Asch feels an inward groan, glancing aside. He hates dealing with New Feathers.]

I doubt you'll believe this, but you're in a place called Luceti. It isn't in Auldrant, and it probably isn't the year you were taken in, either.

[Luceti... It's just like what that woman claimed, then. She's starting to get a bit more suspicious towards Asch now.]

Hm. What year would you originate from, then?

It's currently ND 2018.

[Well, sort of. It's been more than a year for him since then, but... close enough, since time stands still here.]

2018? That's... [almost thirty years after her time.] impossible.

You can say whatever you want, but it's the truth.

Do you have proof to support this claim?

[Because this is all just one big, wild story and she has yet to see anything that'll persuade her to accept it as the truth.]

How could I? Any proof I could give you would be future events, and unless you know the Closed Score or are some kind of clairvoyant, that won't mean a damn thing.

Hmph. [He has a point, of course, but she was hoping that perhaps there was some sort of proof other than future events.]

And you say this is not Auldrant? I certainly don't remember leaving my world.

None of us do. This village definitely isn't in Auldrant, though. There's a different feel to the fonons here.

[Or the world doesn't even have fonons and the artes just use some Luceti equivalent. Who knows.]

[It's true- she has felt it. However, there could be half a dozen reasons for sensing fonon interference, even in Auldrant itself.]

Hmm. And these wings? [She indicates the pair of white feathery wings on her back.]
