(no subject)
I've not had internet now for 9 days. I was jones-ing hardcore at first, but now that its here again, I almost wish it gone. almost. we are in the information age, after all.
So I put in my 2 weeks at the airport. You get fairly close to a lot of people in a month's time. It makes my heart drop when I see the expression on co-worker's faces when I say I'm leaving. Its one of those open mouth, 'wha and why' looks with a little bit of sad panda mixed in. ATS is good people for the most part, and I thank them for making me 'family'. /deepsigh
Come June 1st, I will be a A/V Technician with Presentation Services at the Doubletree Hotel in Mission Valley. Pay is good, benefits is good, fulltime position right off the bat, and my boss is a geek. I feel its one of those 'sink or swim' situations. I'll be there for awhile (i should settle down), or be back at ATS in a month's time (i said it again).
The only thing that blows is I gotta clean myself up. Shave on a regular basis, sleep some decent hours, not smoke as much weed (heh), and lay off the grits whilst intoxicated.
