Just what is it? I've heard several people throw the term around now and I must say my curiosity is almost bursting.

Fontech is the technology of our world. It ranges from machinery and airships to simple things like these phone-like devices.

About the only difference is the use of fonons, really. That's about it.

Fonons are like building blocks of life, I think... they're particles that form much of the world back home.

There's seven known fonon types in Auldrant -- fire, water, light, shadow, earth, wind and sound.
