As far as Guy and I have tried, immediate force and artes that weaken defense have no affect on the chains. I assume you have had no luck either?

No luck at all. We can't seem to find out how to separate ourselves ...

Wait. You and Guy are tied together? How is he handling that?

I was hoping there would be some way to get out of this... I'm just as uncomfortable as you seem to be, if not more.

...As you would expect him to. Panicked and distressed, although there's the occasional pause where I can get him to calm down enough to attempt at another way to break the chains...

Whatever sort of joke this must be, it's cruel. Do we know how this all began in the first place?

I see ... his phobia probably doesn't make anything easier in your case. I'm glad there are a few instances in which you can calm him down, however ... that, I think, is a feat in itself.

...I'm sure I could think of crueler, but still. None at all. I'm sure that you woke up the same as I did. With the opposing person in your inn room, correct?

To be honest, I'm more concerned for him. I'm sure he's having a much harder time than I. Whether we're tied together or not, he's still Guy, and manages to stay calm in certain situations. I don't deserve much credit.

I'm concerned as well. Anise and I have been managing about as best as we could so far, but ... with how strongly Guy reacts to being near women, I'm surprised he's able to stay calm at all.

And we were chained at the time. Although, just how it happened... I'm not sure.

Hopefully this will be over soon enough. Indeed, but we try to avoid physical interaction by all means necessary. It's... uncomfortable... for the both of us.

I'm afraid I have to agree with you there. I believe Jade went to Grand Chokmah with Emperor Peony as well, and Luke is tied with Asch... I believe Guy and I might be the most mismatched...

And yet, why would I prefer this over being tied to the Colonel or Anise...? It must be the familiarity... [unhackable]

Well .. try to make the best of it, and keep trying to find a way out of the binds. That's about all we can do right now, it seems.
