Re: Testing, TestingazuresteelJune 1 2009, 05:09:08 UTC
[OOC: Lol, Zelos is a member of Ad Libitum and I'm still a member in training! Let's do this!]
Hmm, what kind of test? (It's unusual for trainees to get to choose their method of testing ... argh, I can't tell her that ...) Imperial Knights handled all sorts of duties in the Empire, so it's no exaggeration to say that we can handle pretty much anything.
The only time I've really been with the guild was killing the weeds around the World Tree. I know you, Yuan, and the others saw me with my healing artes ... If it's okay with you, I'd like to have a test related to combat.
I couldn't live with myself if I let it be something easy, like delivery or something like. You also haven't seen my fighting ability yet, so I'd be more comfortable being allowed in the guild if you know for sure I won't be a burden.
(Hmm ... it seems everyone being summoned is joining Ad Libitum ... I know Rita Mordio made it here, but there's no sign of Yuri, or anyone else. I should go ask her about it ...)
[OOC: Do you want to make the quest thread (when we decide on what it is) or shall I?]

((OOC: Ah, that's because you can join the game with a character that supposedly is already a member of the guild. And please go ahead and start the quest thread when you/we decide, if that's okay.))
If I recall correctly, the tests basically serve as a means to study a potential Ad Libitum member's skills in fighting and magic (or whatever else he may be capable of), his ability to get along with others, and his ability to follow directions.
I think I understand. Well then, if you want a test to focus mostly on physical combat, it would probably be best if we accepted a quest to take down a particularly strong monster or a gang of bandits, or something of that sort. The townspeople are always enlisting us for things like that, so it shouldn't be difficult to find an appropriate quest.
My only suggestion is that we avoid the caverns in this area. I discovered on a recent quest that thermal activity in the area makes things underground extremely unpredictable.

Very well then.
((OOC: Okay, if that's what you want to do. Or you could make the thread and I can bring Yuan in to confirm the quest and then resume the quest itself so the whole thing is in one place? It'd up to you.))
