Let go, Mets

The Mets made it to the World Series this year if 2015. I took Navin to Citi Field several times for day games. We saw Syndergaard get three hits, one which was a home run... We saw many great games, a few tough ones. I drove around Brooklyn listening to the games on the radio, cursing my road rage toward the Mets. Then, in June, we moved down to Aberdeen, Maryland and bid goodbye to Park Slope, our residence for two years out of my five and a half in New York City. There were two of us then, my sweetheart, Emily Kay, who is now my wife and I. Now it is us 3, including our son Navin Cai. Well the first advantage to moving away from my ball team was no more blackouts and for 89 dollars a year, I can watch all the Mets games except against the Nationals and Orioles. And so I did for the rest of the season. And it was a good run, all the way to the World Series. I had to watch most of the games at a bar or my parents house about twenty minutes from home. They were all late games so Navin couldn't stay up to watch them, but he's mostly just interested in cartoons. Go figure.
