I was listening to the radio and heard an interesting quote or adage attributed to Winston Churchill. It was used by a professor of comparative health systems. She's been wandering to other countries to see how their systems work and to help us formulate a direction. Sorry for all the back story, but I hope the quote will make up for it.
"Always trust Americans to do the right thing,
once they've exhausted all other possibilities."
I don't know if this is a real quote, or something that just seems real, but it does seem remarkably apt for the way we do things nationally.
