A list and a brief outburst:
1. Wednesday afternoon. Drove around Raleigh. Spent an hour or two in the Rose Garden. No one else was around. Went to D. H. Hill (NC State library) and wandered around an exhibit of photographs of soldiers from the Civil War to the Iraq conflict. I liked the photographs of Vietnam and Korea.
2. Spent Wednesday night in Chapel Hill with Amanda. Drank a lot and played hangman with the titles of "seminal works" of literature. I won. Also played War as a drinking game. She won, and I became quite trashed.
3. Watched "Flight of the Conchords" with Annelise and Alex on Thursday.
4. Last night was movie night and Chinese with my family. "Blazing Saddles," "Edward Scissorhands," and I'm just glad we could watch something that wasn't the Disney channel or "America's Next Top Model."
I wake up far earlier than I intend. I've been having dreams about L for the past four days.
They're disconcerting, but I feel perfectly fine otherwise.
I wish I could make them stop.
