Yes! finally! now that's what i'm talkin bout!
ever since Limewire magically appeared on my computer about a month ago, all i've been doing is downloading 90's stuff! like, things i used to listen to back when i bought CDs and when MTV was a beacon of hope! its ridiculous how good music was back than. you have no idea what a magical mish-mosh of nostalgia i have attained over the long nights of recently! starting with JayZ and continuing into Spacehog! its all sooooo gooooood!
btw - the funny thing is, i randomly have a few Eve 6 mp3s, left over from my brother's youth, and i've been racking my brain like crazy, trying to remember the name of that ONE song by them that i actually liked! and you just nailed it! victory is ours! ho-ho! (Eve 6 is actually also special to me, cuz they showed me that red-headed boys can actually be ok :) so thanks)
oh - and Fastball was one of the best live shows i've ever been to. siiiigh, so many years ago that was...
and Meredith Brooks was prolific cuz she really began an era of "strong" female performers who actually played guitar and wrote interesting lyrics. too bad they all made such a point of not shaving their armpits that their music got overlooked. hehehe. can you believe that her "Bitch" song was actually out at the same time as Britney's "hit me baby one more time"? i remember both their videos playing on the hanging tv in our highschool's "senior" cafeteria (i was actually cool enough to hang out there even though i was a sophomore, hehehe). my oh my, i didn't think i could remember that far back... thanks! (although its kinda premature ejaculation being nostalgic in our late twenties, no? :)))))
