It would seem that certain appearances here have spawned a very extensive debate on the topic of replication, fomicry, and the like. While everyone is prone to their own opinion, those with more ignorant notions of the fomic process and lives of replicas I would hope find themselves slightly less outspoken ( Read more... )

Hm, Jade...I believe you have knowledge of replication, yes? If so, would it be possible to examine the replica heart I had created?

I'm sure it would prove interesting, as it was made with the same data gathering methods as were used to create Ryuu.

Allow me to clarify; you would like me to examine your own heart? In what fashion?

...And what methods might those be?

Ah, no. Prior to my death, I had removed the replica heart, as this world seems to have restored my real one, for now, at least.

Simple. I observed an actual heart, its functions, took note of its compositions of light and darkness and essentially used substitutions; recycled light and darkness, to be precise. Adding that to my own data, I was able to form a plausible copy.

It was somewhat simple, as, during my time as an apprentice, I spent much of my time studying the heart. Along with that, my master, Ansem the Wise, knew how to encrypt hearts as data and copy them as replicas.

It's probably far from similar to this fomicry...

I doubt that they are dissimilar.

I also doubt that the 'heart' you refer to is the scientific brand.

All right. I will look at it. But at my leisure, and privately, on the additional condition that if I deem any information too... unnecessary to be passed on, it shall not be.

Ah, it may also have to do with differing sciences and logic of different worlds.

Either way, I agree, and there is no real rush at all. And I wouldn't pass on any information to outside sources, s there would be no need.

Of course, it would go without saying that different logics interpret in singular ways-- but the parallels cannot go ignored.

I'm afraid you misunderstand.
