The Exciting Weekend

Nov 14, 2004 19:04

Okay- I lied on Friday- I totally had a hangover- I went back to bed and stayed there until 1:30 where I went to class and was not able to even hold my head up. And I was nauseous and ate nothing but room temperature Sierra Mist the entire day. Totally sucked a LOT. But Saturday was awesome. WEnt to the mall with: Alice, Natlie O., Allie, Chanel, Lola, David, and Rebecca. i bought that lotion from Bath and Body Works that's totally awesome smelling, and then we all spent like an hour in Victoria's Secret- no more than that. The sales ladies were totally friendly and everyone bought something- even me although it was only shampoo and conditioner. Totally need to watch this money spending thing- I have no income and yet I still spend. Sigh- need to find a job next quarter although that'll be impossible cause work study people have first priority. Sigh again. So Angie read my livejournal including the stuff I wrote about that hair which is totally embarassing but whatever. Actually I'm really mellow right now- finished reading Always Running, need to read My First SUmmer in the Sierra, and then start on whatever is due tomorrow for CORE. Sigh- and for American Studies- but at least no essays due in the near future. Oh- how will I tell Mom and Dad about my not so super grade in Astronomy? At least it was curved so I passed. YAY! Not really- I'm thinking A's in Core and AmSt. but a C in Astronomy. Not what I'd consider my ultimate grades, but I'd definitely accept them. Oh! Only a week and a half until Thanksgiving break comes and I can go home and visit my incredibly wonderful, cute little sister! And after that only another week and a half until I go home for 3 weeks (maybe more) of Xmas break. Can't wait to go wandering around the mall looking at Xmas decorations, and to drive around looking at Xmas lights, or celebrating hannukah with the Smolenskis and the Irvines, and the Browns Xmas party, and I'll be able to go to BlueMad's Xmas party. I'm definitely not a religious person, but I still totally love the Holidays because of the mood surrounding it. Sounds corny- but it's totally true. They had decorations at the Capitola Mall- they were just starting to put them up- but it was still really excited. YAYAYAYAY!
