Boring Summer Update
Nothing much has happened with me this summer actually. I work a lot and attempt to make plans with everyone and even though everyone is always complaining about how I'm always busy -it's them that's always too busy to get together ever.
Saw the King Tut exhibit and OH MY GOD! it was so crowded. It was nearly impossible to move around in that place. We saw it with Helen and I can honestly saw that she is definitely the coolest Senior Citizen ever- and grandpa is the least coolest.
Bonfire on the Beach with Kellie was completely awesome even though Angelique spent the last hour on the phone. Highlights included Kellie dropping all 4 of our hamburgers into the firepit. Oops! The dog dive as Kellie attempted to hide the dog from the beach patrol. And playing "Sex on the Beach" really loudly for the enjoyment of the couple having sex on the beach 10 feet away from us. It was also nice to see Madison.
Vow to myself: I will not read any more romance novels this summer- only "good" books.
Question for Hayley: Is your cell phone pay as you go like it was last time? If so then I feel really guilty calling you and talking to you as I plan to do more this summer. Or do you have like a certain number of minutes a month/ week? Is there a good time for me to call you and bore you with my inane chatter?
Quote of a lifetime: I was reading the Children's Illustrated Bible to my brother and the first story mentions God so of course I ask Phillip, "Do you know who God is?" Phillip looks at me, rolls his eyes, and says, "Bethany, God is fake!." Hilarious! Of course I ask him if Katie, our heretic sister :), had told him that and he said, with the same eye roll, "No. I just know."
