where to begin!
college college college. WOW! there is no way i can express all my thoughts down on paper...
1. this idea of total freedom is amazing..even though i had a pretty good taste of it this summer, it's a lot different living without any adults around and entirely fending for yourself. scary, but amazing at the same time.
2. sharing a bathroom that has 2 showers with 40 other girls is ridiculous to say the least.... not to mention we all know how often i poop and having to poop 3 times a day while 10 girls are brushing their teeth makes me feel a little uneasy...AAAH
3. my roommate is awesome. she's this mini 5 foot 2, ball full of life from new york city. she really keeps me lively and i feel like i'm even more outgoing because of her. definitely feel lucky to be living with her. she's a lot like me in the sense that we are really focused on school when we need to be, and then get insanely wild all of the other time.
4. vermont is beautiful. i can see the mountains all around my campus and the lake goes on forever. i REALLY want to get involved with the outing club...i just feel like i have zero time to do anything more than i'm already doing.
5. i miss doug a LOT. its just hard to go from having him around every day all summer to never seeing him at all. he really is my best friend and having him around really brought a whole new perspective to my life.
6. aside from all this mumbo jumbo, I LOVVVVE LIFE. so happy to be here, so excited to see what will happen, the parties are great, the people are GENERALLY nice, and the food doesn't totally suck. of course there are lots of little things i whine about here and there but i think i made the right choice. :)
