Yeah, I'm an adult now. I signed for a driver's permit today all by myself. I didn't need Daddy to sign too.

My birthday was awesome.

Coty surprised me at 6:something in the morning with a dozen of beautiful pink roses, a cute teddy bear holding a "Happy Birthday" balloon in a basket of candy, and a really funny card.  He was going to surprise me with a visit during my lunch but I had a field trip that day.  We saw Shakespeare in Love--amazing!  Jeannie baked delicious pink cupcakes and gave me a candle to blow out. It was really nice.  We even had the pleasure of Dixie's company.  I even got to see Leah!

My parents gave me a really small party. They made bread bites, pizza, and cake. yummy yummy to my tummy tummy.  I received birthday cards, $10, a big pair of Happy Birthday glasses, earrings, a picture frame, and a journal with scripture verses in it.  The day ended with a nice nap on Coty's shoulder.

For my birthday, he took me out to Montana Mikes. yummy yummy to my tummy tummy.  I saw the Tapia family and Mrs. Diersing and her daughter, Emily.  After eating, we walked to Walgreen's, Marble Slab (which was closed), Blockbuster, then HEB Plus.  At HEB, he bought me another big rose, only this one was white.  Then we went to Wal-Mart where I saw Josh Antunez.  We went to his house and watched Blue Collar Comedy and half of Ratatouille before Dad called and said it was time to come home (3 ish).

My grandparents (paternal) gave me $30.
