but if I understand it was written around 300? that is a question the fella in the interview unless I missed something finessed, but it is obviously just something someone wrote... belonging in the category of products of the various sects more or less like groups of occultists and so on today, produced to make their own image of Christianity...in some the God of the old testament is the bad guy, Jesus is the one from outside the system who shows the way by special initiation and knowledge to liberation etc all possible ideas were around then as now... what I do not see is how this could be advanced as having anything to do with the actual story of Jesus.
They trot stuff like this out every Easter season. The timing is no accident. This has no more significance to the Christian gospel than any of the other gnostic "gospels."
