The Apartment
August has been the month of lots of changes for me. I moved into my first apartment, started my first job as a nurse, and turned 24 (that's mid-20's people...that's big).
I'm loving the apartment though it can be weird having nobody around when I come home. I don't think I'm going to get a tv. I've been able to do so much reading that I probably wouldn't do if there were a tv and life is too short to waste it watching that thing. There are so many good books out there anyway...and too little time to read them all. I don't have a computer either, thus the shortage of any evidence of me on here lately. Eventually I'm hoping to get one b/c the thing really is indespinsable.
The job is going well. I'm enjoying it although it can be overwhelming at times.
Running has gone to the back burner. I have to admit that is probably a good thing. It had become an obsession and was taking priority over people and my relationship with God...so I needed a kick in the butt about it...and basically I just can't run anymore. Every run is miserable. So that's that.
