I have only one more big scene and a couple bits of filler to write, and then almost twenty pages of Youth is already written. Naturally, this means my mind won't focus and instead I've started four other fics and have extra ideas left over. I don't know if I'll get to them, but one of those is a standalone with Archie going back to the theater. He's in London for a month after all, there's no way that his father is going to keep him out of Drury Lane the whole time. And while he's there, he has to talk to wise, older Daniel about meeting a boy....
My other Daniel idea is exciting but I don't know... I think I would like to write something (quite a bit shorter!!!) about Horatio going back to London after Archie is cut out and thought dead. I'm maudlin enough to want to make him have to talk to Archie's family, but also, it would let me take him to the theater. And who knows what Horatio, who is far more accepting of his homosexuality, and desperately unhappy, might get up to with the only other man Archie ever willingly kissed......
Too many ideas, not enough time.
