Antoine Vanner writes Naval Adventure set later in the 19th century, at the beginning of the steam warship era.  However, he covers a broader spectrum of Naval Warfare and history on his blog.  The most recent posting on the Dawlish Chronicles blog details the actions between HMS Indefatigable, HMS Amazon, and Droits de l'Homme.
