I didn't have time to write anything new for the challenge so I've salvaged this from my drafts folder. It only makes a passing reference to food (blink and you'll miss it) but there's certainly lurve involved ;) ETA I should probably add that this isn't nearly as grim as the title suggests. In fact there's only the tiniest smidgen of angst!
Hornblower checked his watch, frowning briefly; they should have been gone ten minutes ago, but there was still no sign of Archie.
