On the off chance you might be interested...Truth and Consequences, the episode of David E. Kelley's medical drama Monday Mornings, featuring both Jamie Bamber and Ioan Gruffudd will be airing this week at the following times: Monday 25th at 10pm on TNT in the US, Monday 25th at 10pm on Bravo in Canada and Thursday 28th at 8.15pm on TNT Serie in Germany. The series can also be viewed on iTunes in the US. Many thanks to
zegeekgirl for the air times.
Accordingly to the series' episode guides, Ioan plays Dr Stewart Delany who is called on to explain how a careless mistake killed one of his young patients.
The series hasn't been getting the best viewing figures but it's not at all bad, if anything it suffers from being rather over ambitious. There are a lot of characters and plot lines some of which feel as if they are not being fully developed or resolved. It's got a great ensemble cast though and the acting is uniformly excellent. It's also a very slick production as you would expect from Kelley, though some of the camera tricks get a bit tiresome. Of course with so many characters in each episode there's no guarantee that JB and IG will share any scenes, but I live in hope!

If you want to catch up on what's been happening in the previous seven episodes,
jamiebambernews have been posting a weekly discussion thread for each episode which you can find on the Monday Mornings tag
here. Jamie has also live tweeted the last two episodes with his co-star Jennifer Finigan. I was hoping that he would live tweet the episode guest-starring Ioan, but given that he is currently in London to film the new
Kudos series, The Smoke, that seems unlikely. Kudos are the same company that produced Law and Order: UK, Life on Mars and Broadchurch, and the new series is described as follows:
The Smoke is an eight part series from Kudos Film and TV written and created by Lucy Kirkwood (Skins). At the heart of the story is a family of firemen and women who, no matter what, always have each other to fall back on. But being a hero isn't easy, especially in a world that regularly disregards them, and it certainly doesn't pay. Many crew members are forced to hold down other jobs on the side, taking some of them into the city's after dark world. The stakes are high but, in The Smoke, it's the very lives and souls of the White Watch crew that are at risk.
Unfortunately I'm going to miss Truth and Consequences because I'm away at the beginning of next week, dammit, but if any screencaps appear online I'll cross post them here with credit.
