I love the fish table.
That is a Kennedy table if ever I saw one!! Those odd fishy dolphin things are one of the heraldic emblems of Clan Kennedy and you can see them all over Culzean Castle! Here's one on a cannon.

And yes I'm with you on the wishing that men would still dress like that!

Somebody needs to write a kid-fic about the dolphin creatures. Don't you think a little child would imagine stories abou them?

Wow! I saw a heraldic emblems of Clan Kennedy, but I did not pay attention to the similarity of the dolphins. : (
I like this cannon! :)

It's a very pretty cannon isn't it?! It sits on the battlements at Culzean pointing towards Kintyre and Ireland.

Technically speaking, I think this might be a howitzer or a mortar, rather than a cannon.

This gun has a barrel length less than 6 times its caliber. Ergo mortar.
Besides, it is heavy and stationary, in contrast to howitzers.
