“Ha'hm. I don't know about this Archie.”

Horatio was still dithering.

“You liked it last time.” Archie restricted himself to no more than a fond smile.

Bliss indeed. This is glorious.

Archie did not say more. He was not going to say that he had clung to the memory of this place, as a drowning man seizes a spar.
I'm glad they made it back to this room. It seems so long ago. So much has passed. I'm glad they've survived this far.

Archie felt the clench inside that said 'mine.' Like the tears, like the foolish giddy laughter, this part of Horatio was only ever for Archie.
Yes. No words for this.

I've been trying to write tonight but not enough head space. Though, weirdly, the one bit I did manage to write also features Pellew and the Port Admiral!

I like the mouth sound/feel of 'Port Admiral.' It sounds like something good to eat.

(You know, you hand the menu to the waiter and you say 'I'll have the port admiral, please, with a baked potato.)

Hehe! Yes! I know what you mean! Archie is giving you his WTF?! look though.

I think the Port Admiral's wife might have something to say about that ;)

Off to bed now, long day tomorrow :/ Friday though. Huzzah! Maybe catch up at the weekend?

I guess we can assume Archie does not want to eat the Port Admiral!

Mmmh... There really isn't much more I can say. It's so lovely and sensuous, but your writing always is, so.

Horatio's fingers against his mouth, not to quiet him, but to feel the sounds he could not stop

This, really, encapsulates the whole-body experience they are sharing. You can feel they're experiencing each other with all their senses.

I think the fingers in the mouth part shows the trust and the way they know each other so well now. They do bring all their senses to bear-- they just dive right in. It is fun to write!

Such wonderful boys. I'm always so happy for them, when they can find moments like this.

This makes my heart ache, in a good way. There's just something so pure about them, despite everything.
