I would never be so cruel as to bring Archie back from the dead only to kill him off again. However, his canonical tendency to get injured needed to be addressed.

I'm glad you liked it. This was actually the chapter I was looking forward to writing the most.

Hornblower opening the door for Drake and her being annoyed is a very nice little touch.

Thanks; I always got the impression that Amelia isn't one for overly romantic gestures...at least most of the time.
