When I posted my comment, LJ told me it would go into the moderation queue because of the comm's settings, or something like that.

Thanks, that's helpful. I'll have a look at the comm's settings and try and find out what's causing this. I have no problem with people posting links in comments on my own LJ so it must be something to do with the way sarlania originally set up the comm. I'll see if I can ease the restrictions.
