Horatio Hornblower: The Musical
Had a very odd Hornblower dream the other night; am pretty sure it means I should get a move on with my latest video effort.
It started on the deck of the Indefatigable (because what half-decent dream doesn't) and all the crew was gathered just as they were when Pellew was giving his inspiring speech about the enemy wearing a new face and defeating him as we have always defeated him. Then everyone started swaying back and forth and humming, and Pellew himself broke into song, the lyrics of which I don't remember, but it was all about how terrific he was as a captain and how lucky the crew was to be serving under him. I'm pretty sure there was formation sail-raising as well, all perfectly choreographed.
So what of it? Is Horatio Hornblower: The Musical to be the next great hit? (Though the name would have to change, I know there is already an excellent video up by that name!) And while I've the vague feeling this has been discussed before, has anyone else had equally odd Hornblower dreams?
