Fic: Romanticide
I’m sorry, it’s something a little extravagant this time: a Hornblower/Temeraire crossover. I’m afraid this won’t make much sense if you’re not familiar with the Temeraire books by naominovik. I hope there are a few fans among you. (And you others totally have to read these books!!! :] )

Summary/Notes: I’m just playing a little with one of my favourite characters from Temeraire, John Granby, and have him meet young Hornblower on the Renown. I love the unconventionality of the Aerial Corps and I love, love love Granby and wanted to write a story about the two. This is just one night in the life of the young and green (insipid pun intended) midwingman John Granby, pre-canon. Granby meets Hornblower; aviator meets naval officer - a clash of cultures.
