#3 is Buckland in "Lieutenant Hornblower". I got slightly put off answering because of the "is there an additional reference?" bit.

Well done, it is indeed Kitty Cobham aka Catherine Cobham aka the Duchess of Wharfedale. She almost has as many titles as the the eminent Duke and the good Admiral!

Bet she has a few other titles not listed in Debretts as well- as to be fair has the admiral -glad I got this -but only because I had so many hints !

Prefer your night time admiral to mine in lighting terms and overall aesthetic merit,but like that in mine he is waering that " lets rile Horatio just a bit " quizzical look
