Ever have a bizarre, unexplainable case/client/situation on the job? Has anything ever just been too weird or uncomfortable for you? Talk about it!

I worked in a division of the FBI dedicated to unexplained phenomena. Do you really have to ask?

I spent basically two years assigned to the X-Files, not counting the time I was assigned to the task force to find Fox Mulder. In those two years, I had more than my fair share of nights where I didn't sleep or woke up in the middle of them terrified. I've had way too many painful and scary things happen to me, to my partner or to members of the team. My partner and I were infected by some sort of alien organism; my partner technically died and then came back; there was some weird thing with four dimensions; and let's not even talk about the whole scandal with the third eye. Every day things that I never believed were possible happened to me, and they usually were not good.

That was six years ago, and my partner and I are both still standing. We're still partners, in fact. Monica went back to New Orleans. I haven't really been in contact with Mulder or Scully since then. Sadly, Kersh is still alive. We're all back to being regular FBI agents. That doesn't take away from anything we saw or that happened to us. The bonds are still there. The memories are still there.

The nightmares, too.
