Hey, my hometown was the location for the lead story on MSNBC last night. Apparently the generators that FEMA was supposed to have delivered are not turning up. Power may be out in rural areas for 3-5 weeks. The county governments are saying that people should leave because they can't be promised any sort of utilities (incl. water) for a long while. It is also worth noting that much of the rural population of western KY is most likely not in a financial position to pick up and leave, especially for several weeks.
