noelfigart (friend of friends whose journal I enjoy reading) had this test in her journal and was pleased with her results. Mine are very different and I am equally pleased with mine:

the Prankster
(33% dark, 30% spontaneous, 10% vulgar) your humor style:
CLEAN | COMPLEX | LIGHT

Your humor has an intellectual, even conceptual slant to it. You're not
pretentious, but you're not into what some would call 'low humor'
either. You'll laugh at a good dirty joke, but you definitely prefer
something clever to something moist.

You
probably like well-thought-out pranks and/or spoofs and it's highly
likely you've tried one of these things yourself. In a lot of ways,
yours is the most entertaining type of humor because it's smart without
being mean-spirited.

I used to notice that frequently it seemed as though my sense of humor lined up more with men than with women. Even in fandom. I love Woody Allen, Groucho Marx, Monty Python, Black Adder, Mae West, The Daily Show... however I do NOT line up with men in that most men seem to like the Three Stooges. In fact I really dislike the Three Stooges. I also like some Mel Brooks but others I find too crass and not funny enough (I like Young Frankenstein but dislike Space Balls) Oh well... Also when I was younger I was a Dick Cavett fan in a world of Johnny Carson fans. I liked old SNL but after the original cast I stopped liking it much...
So what style of humor do you like and why?
