N-nno. I, uh, up until a couple of months ago I wouldn't have even... thought, that, uh, anything like that would exist at home.

it's okay, some places don't have things like that... but where I'm from, there aren't a lot of really tall people like there are here, so it can be different!

No. just because there are bird girls and not everyone is really tall doesn't mean that's all there is.

It's okay. what's it like where you're from?

[Bennett fights off the urge to say "normal", and thinks.]

Well, I'm from a big city, where there.... are mostly just humans. Some animals-- like, pets. There are a lot of really big mountains near where I am and big buildings... it's a really beautiful place.

In... in my opinion.

I've never seen a big city before... but I've seen mountains. I don't really know what big buildings look like either, because the only big buildings i've ever seen are stone towers. I haven't seen many of them in one place, anyway.

it sounds nice where you live, though. I wonder if i'd like it there.

I dunno. It depends. I, i myself... I like it. I don't have a lot of friends, but I like people. It's kind of nice to have them, them, just... there. And there are a lot of people in Vancouver.
