I was born with mine, the only one in my entire family to have magic of any kind. It's not possible to gain it where I'm from.

The only one in your family? Interesting, usually most are fully magical families in my case. Though I suppose it does depend on who you end up with!

Yes. Magic can skip around where I'm from. Some wizards are born into completely non-magical families, like I was, and some wizarding families with magic in every person in their tree can have a non-magical child. It's really interesting.

Oh it's no trouble at all! I actually found it quite refreshing teaching someone. It does make me miss the castle a bit though.
Hm that is certainly something. Perhaps it's something in the genes, I've never really taken the time to fully look into the matter though.
