Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, Eleven…oh there’s no more sugar left. Hmm I’ll have to pick some up later.

[ The transmission is silent, for some time, but it’s most likely because Helios doesn’t notice it’s on. The sounds of pages turning in a book are the only source of noise to be recognized. He'll give a long sigh. ] Mushi seem to have disappeared ( Read more... )

interesting thoughts, he's a derp, everything tastes better with sugar, curious, babbling

In my world you have to have some natural talent and then you can learn magic by teaching yourself or with a teacher. Even with that, no one can learn every spell that exists.

Has anyone ever tried? I know there's a good deal of spells in my world as well. Learning all of them takes years and years of practice unless you're something of a prodigy.

I've tried, but there are just certain elements that I can't learn the spells for. Fire magic, for instance, can only be learned by certain people.

Yes I've heard of people talking about that. I do wonder why that is. I don't have any trouble learning different elements!

Perhaps each world's elements work differently just like the magic itself does? I know my world sure doesn't have spirits like this place does.

You might be right about that. Funny how such a common thing in Luceti can be so complex!

You are speaking of the magic, correct? Not the spirits themselves?

[Sorry about that journal fail, Yuber totally wouldn't have been that nice.]

Correct! Though I'm sure each world has differing spirits as well, but that's an entirely different subject altogether!

[ Haha it's cool! >: ]

Yes, that is a different subject, and all depends on one's definition of spirits. In my own world the closest thing would be the gods themselves.

Gods, really? You don't have lore or belief that spirits might be the deceased? Or, er, the common term is ghosts but nothing like that?

Oh, you mean undead creatures. Those do exist, they are considered the same as monsters, dangerous and need to be exterminated so they can move on as they should.

Yes that's right! Monsters...hm I like to think they're unfortunate. The poor things unable to move on, turning into something they clearly are not. It's a shame really.
