✭Spring Break is officially over for me, I am sad. I didn't go anywhere special but it was so nice to stay at home and be able to not stress out. It felt like a vacation house just being in my own house for a week. :|
✭ I needs a second job stat. Why must the job market fail so hard. ;0;
✭ A friend has offered to take me to Italy for a week in December. The downside? The ticket costs nearly a thousand dollars. I would normally be all over that, but with the other bills I have, I could still do it, but be a pauper for the rest of the year trying to pay off this one ticket. I want to go but I really have no idea if I can.
✭ I've read Patricia Brigg's Mercy Thompson series and I think her work has got me to at least glance at the urban fantasy genre again. After the debacle of how amazingly bad Laurell K Hamilton is gotten, this a good thing. It's not perfect but at least the characters are a hell of a lot more realistic than what LKH puts out. Sadly it seems most of the genre tries in some form to follow what she's put out. I cheered getting alpha werewolves in this series that aren't throwing tantrums like children.
✭ Starting Terry Brooks's Landover series. This should be fun. O:
