(no subject)
Today, I got to tell Quix* that I quit. You don't need to do that 2 week notice with the company. It felt pretty good, actually! My temp supervisor seemed to actually sympathize with people quitting there lately. From what I saw, I was the third person to leave the company today. Considering that there are roughly 100 temps working on phones, that's a pretty high turn-over for one day. Q* is not a temp-friendly company at all, and they go out of their way to make sure you feel like you don't belong.
So, anyway, I picked up a job doing some warranty repair work. I just got Certified to work on Dell Laptops. I can do a complete tear down and rebuild of one. :)
Tomorrow, I get certified in desktops. Woo!
I can't wait to start reaping some of the benefits...like getting paychecks. Haha
Speaking of paychecks, I got a $100 paycheck today because I was scheduled for 2 work days last week. Words can not even begin to describe how much we are hurting for money.
