Wallpaper Meme!!!

- 1. When I turn on my computer I'm imediatelly reminded of another passion of mine, photography.
- 2. It's one of my favourite photographs of one of my favourite photographers, Roy DeCarava.
- 3. From all the photographs I wanted to use as a wallpaper this is the one I found with the better resolution/forma(2:3) combo which didn't distort the photograph and matched my screen, and, as an extra plus, the photograph's composition makes it a good desktop choise.
- 4. Even when I'm not using the PC I still have insentive to turn it on, or leave it on (that's art for ya!).
- 5. Having something like this as a desktop, rather than actors and/or TVshow-movie related wallpapers, I manage to avoid condosending comments in the vain of "who aaaare these guys, and are hey realy this important?" and "don't you have anything better to do than this?" from family and friends who don't get my TV obsession (surprisingly enough, they tend to be quite understanding of my photography obsession which is why I use photographs as desktops. I guess that is not a frowned upon hobby).
Random RAMBLINGS: Granted my PC has been busted for the past - Whoa! It's been 3 months now - and I'm currently getting my daily internet/computer fix from sister's laptop, but this what I had on my desktop before it got ruined, I'd had it for a very long time, and I'll probably end up using it again when the new one gets here... which should be soon... actually it should have aready arrived by now... like a month ago... yeah I'm getting antsy about it... that's another "Random Rambling" all together which I shouldn't get to because I'll get all stressed out again and I've tried very hard to keep calm about this whole thing for the last three months so I just need to to try and not get started...not starting not starting not starting... *breathes in - - breathes out - - breathes in - - breathes out * ... I'm calm... sorta... Distract yourself with shiny things Alexandra! SHINY THINGS I SAID!!!!!
