... and it was A!Dorable!
Genuinely one of the best teen rom-coms I've seen in years!
It aspired to hit all the right notes of the genre from the late 90s era, and IMO did not disappoint in delivering.
Now is it as good as 10 Things I Hate About You, Clueless and She's All That? I'm not 100% sure.
But it's intentions were honest, and the result excellent and I think it might have the chops to hold up in time and be able to be looked back upon with the same fondness as that lot.
Time will be the judge of that.
I suggest people go watch it and make that judgement for themselves! ;P
PS - I will say, if you're expecting anything similar to the book you will be sorely disappointed. It deviates quite a bit (more like completely), but the themes are there. And if you can approach it as a whole different entity you should be alright.
