What Kind of Day has it Been
I'm wide awake, it's nearly 3am. Boy does my body suck at the moment..... Why are you not co-operating idiot? I have a month and a half to get back to some normal sleeping pattern from this stupid fucked up thing that I've been living for...... a while now. Anyway, since I'm awake I'll write some stuff on this piece of arse.
So today's been...... frustrating but also fun. It started well, I played some stuff on PC, watched some West Wing, had some cups of tea and a sandwich - exciting stuff!
I found a flat too in Cardiff, so I think I can move there now. Not sure I want to mind. I love where I am now.... I didn't used to. I never wanted to move from Birmingham - but of course I did, and I enjoyed myself. So I shall move, I will enjoy myself, it's a spectacular opportunity and I will seize it. As Leo McGarry said to Toby Ziegler in perhaps my favourite West Wing episode "In the Shadow of Two Gunmen part 1 (S2 E01)," -- Don't screw up."
I'm a tad worried I don't have the skills they think I do so I'll adopt another of his mantra's "act as if ye have faith and faith shall be given to you, in other words fake it, till you make it."
I'm massively lame about TWW, I've seen it a stupid number of times, I watch it all the time in fact. I want to work in the Bartlett White House. I can quote it, just like I can quote James Bond or Broken Lizard comedies. Yeah, I'm very lame.....
Of course after the good flat news my Internet died - more accurately the powerpack has according to Geordies who call themselves 'technicians' - which probably means they can turn on a kettle.
So they said I wouldn't have internet until Wednesday... joy of joys - of course this reminded me that when I move I won't have internet for 10 days minimum..... that sucks! I can't survive without access to random crap online.... jeez..... who do you think I am some sort of monk??
Of course, being me I did not accept that it was broken, so after much faffing and hitting and shaking..... it worked again 8 hours later - totally out of the blue. So I'm up and running! For now, but I can't dare move it or reboot it or anything at all... so I won't.
Thankfully that meant I could join Sarflail and Amberino for a while on Medal of Honor. Of course, they have very dirty connections so they had to use Amberino's friend Matt as protection. Dirty connectioners.
I got loads of achievements on NBA Live 10, I've got a couple of ones left, when I get them that's good and I can move onto NBA Live 06! I don't particularly like Basketball, but whatever, it's achievements....
Of course tomorrow marks two major events. First, the final of the Premier League Asia Trophy - Villa v Chelsea... hopefully the Villa can do the business and win a piece of silverware for the first time a fair while - even if it's totally pointless. The Second event comes round but once every four years, the draw for the European qualifying groups for the FIFA World Cup! Brazil 2014 should be spectacular, so I can't wait.
England have the possibility of drawing France. This will be both fun, given our rivalries, and tragic since the first team only qualifies automatically. Laurent Blanc has got Les Bleus playing as they should have at the last World Cup - they have a great team, and that showed last year when they demolished us at Wembley.
Let's avoid them eh? We don't want to have to let the French into the country, particularly Sarkpoleon.
