Politics: Yes, Bieber: No
It's graduation this Friday.
Last time I was really worried/happy/sad all at the same time - I still can't believe that was over 2 years ago! How time flies. This time, I don't really mind if it's a good ceremony, or worse, if I see some of the people there again. I don't have the same bond with them, or the Uni, as I did Aston and the class of 2009. When I go to Birmingham I usually drive past/park at/eat at the Aston campus, but when I move from Leicester I don't see me returning to DMU for any reason at all. On my wall is a giant photoboard with pics a load of Aston events, Grad Ball, Graduation day, a friend's leaving drinks, fun times in my Birmingham flat.
On those pics are loads of cool people, all of whom I'd love to see again, I've even got a framed pic (small one) of the gang of four (as I have now termed them): Mike, Raz, Jess and Myself, but at DMU while I made good friendships I just don't have the pics on the wall, and don't think I ever will. My fellow Astonauts (seriously, freshers booklet called us that - lame!) were of similar educational backgrounds, we all cared about Politics or Issues in one way or another and could verbalise an argument about most things. With DMU most did English (not a real degree), or even more horrifically - Film and/or Media Studies.... I don't wish to be a snob, but that cannot be as hard as learning the workings of the EU, US foriegn policy, EU intergration or the Politics of Far East Asia, and it's definitely not as hard/boring as Political Thought or Contemporary Political Thought.
They often know nothing of politics, which still to this day is key in my life, and that makes it harder to get on with them. I DON'T DO CELEBRITY, EVER. I COULD GIVE A TOSS ABOUT WHO'S MARRIED WHO- If it's not Silvio Berlusconi shacking up with some Eighteen year old while rigging an investigation into his corruption, I do not care. Likewise if Nicolas Sarkpoleon decides to ditch the Bruni and marry Jean-Marie Le Pen's daughter, I wish to hear it all.

Music
Gaming
Movies
If it's not in there, or if it's to do with Justin Bieber, with all due respect just piss off and die.
