I don't want to post in more than one blog. But unfortunately most of you sorry fools that I know outside the web have yet to be converted from your pagan live-journal ways to the one true blog that is Xanga. Until you repent you cannot comment on my Xanga blogs. So I shall post this blog in two places so you all may have access.
So I have ten days with no work coming up in February 15-25. As a substitute I get all the little vacations the kids get. I imagine I wont have much free time for the rest of my life so I want to use that time in a special way.
Option 1. Stay home and work on one of my ground breaking Philosophical pieces.
Option 2: Waste the ten days working on my music habit and make that demo album.
Option 3: Drive south as far as I can get in four days staying at various friends places then head back. I could even bring my guitar and hit random open microphone nights, sing a couple songs, then leave. I could then lie that I went on tour!
Option 4: Drive West as far as I can get in four days then head back--also couch hopping. That also could serve the purpose of a faux-tour.
Option 5: Go to the west-south 'cause no one ever does! (They just want to go to Phoenix to find a start upwind.)
Option 6: Drive north where it gets colder, but I seem to know a more steady supply of people.
Option 7: Make myself a faux-tour of open mic-nights around this tiny state of CT. Play every night in a different place.
Option 8. Hang around my home town with old friends I haven't gotten to see in a while.
Option 9: Drive around the U.S. collecting autographs on books of established and up and coming cult leaders!
Option 10: Something else interesting and not particularly expensive!
Any other ideas?
Perhaps some philanthropic use of time I have overlooked?
Cheap stupid adventures?
Anyone want to come with me?
