Have you seen my electrolytes?
This feeling of unwellness is really starting to drag on me.
This afternoon I had the pleasure of leaving work because of illness; something I haven't really ever had to do. I've been vomiting pretty wonderfully for two or three days and have dropped my calorie consumption to about 600 per day. And most of that is juice. I went to the clinic today, where I was prescribed Gatorade and Gravol. I'm not sure if it's helping, but Gatorade tastes like ass.
Apparently I'm supposed to go to the hospital if this persists much longer. I've been to the hospital twice before for treatment of dehydration due to excessive vomiting. Both times I got to be hooked up to an IV of saline and Gravol for a few hours. It's a lonely, annoying process that leaves my arm feeling puffy.
